Nancy's painting "Pumpkin Field", 12"x24" oils, was
awarded an honorable mention in the Rockville Art
League's Juried Members' Show, held in the Gallery
at the Rockville Civic Center in Rockville, MD. It
depicts a scene in Amish country in Pennsylvania.
August, 2008
"Pumpkin Field" won the Grand Chamption award
for landscapes in the Professional Class at the
Montgomery County Fair in Gaithersburg, MD.

Nancy was one of many Maryland artists participating in painting barns on location during a Saturday tour for the public of 10 historic barns in the Thurmont Md area. The tour was arranged by the Barnstormers. Nancy's painting "Fitzgerald's Barn" won one of the 6 awards presented at the end of the tour.
